The British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust is a young, successful charity with an ambitious agenda. Funded by commercial broadcasters, we commission television programmes made in British Sign Language and we support the companies and Deaf programme-makers who produce them.
We are looking for two Production Executives to join our Commissioning and Content team. Reporting to the Head of Commissioning, you will work alongside two Executive Producers and have oversight of all BSLBT programmes from development, commission and through to delivery.

For this new role we are looking for people with at least 10-15 years’ experience as a Production Executive/ Line Producer/ Senior Production Manager in broadcast television, across different genres, production companies and commissioners, who have worked across all stages of projects, from development to delivery. In addition you need to have experience of managing complex relationships and complex issues, highly developed communication and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to undertake an effective overview while at the same time paying attention to necessary detail. And of course you should have an interest in BSL Zone content, and, if you are not a British Sign Language user, a willingness to learn conversational BSL
