Communication Support Worker – Saint Benedict
Salary: £18-20k depending on experience
Hours: 8.20am – 3.30pm Mon–Fri 39 weeks
From September 2017, we are seeking to appoint a CSW to support a Deaf CYP. We are looking for applicants with a positive approach who are able to engage with both the CYP and other CYPs at all levels. Applicants should be committed to making a difference. The successful applicant will be part of a team led by the SENCo and be responsible for welfare of the CYP whilst in school.
The person we are seeking will:
- be an enthusiastic and dedicated BSL interpreter with an ability to accurately interpret the curriculum
- ability to communicate with other professional, the CYP and parents to ensure to best outcome for the CYP
