The salary range is £29,664 – £48,244 + TLR 2b (£4,682) + SEN Point 3 (£4,241)

Full time, permanent position

Paradigm Trust is seeking to recruit a Deaf Support Base Manager to lead the provision for pupils who are deaf or have hearing impairments across the school, in order to ensure that these pupils make excellent progress. The successful applicant will report to the Assistant Principal for Inclusion. This will be a demanding, varied, highly challenging and rewarding role that will provide an excellent career opportunity for an exceptional individual. The successful applicant will:

  • have a mandatory Teacher of the Deaf Qualification
  • have a Diploma in Audiology/and or Level 3 Signing Qualification
  • have experience of teaching and supporting deaf and hearing impaired pupils in mainstream schools;
  • have a commitment to collaborative working and liaising with mainstream teachers, parents/carers and other professionals, agencies and services as appropriate;
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • promote effective, inclusive education for deaf children.
