Ealing Centre Manager – deafPLUS

deafPLUS is a charity working to encourage integration and equality between D/deaf in all areas of life. We provide a range of services from Advocacy to Employment, equipment to information and advice across 7 centres around the UK.

We have an exciting position, recruiting a Centre Manager to manage the day to day service of our Ealing office.

deafPLUS are seeking a Centre manger to manage our Ealing centre, line managing 4 members of staff and managing 2 current projects. The successful applicant will also be the senior caseworker, providing advice, guidance, casework, signposting and customer representation to adult Ealing residents. We work in partnership with Ealing Mencap, Age UK, Mind and ECIL (ESAS).

The role will support d/Deaf people, by providing accessible information, Advice and Casework on welfare benefits and all aspects of social welfare law and signposting, support service users to access their rights and welfare benefit entitlements, financial matters and debt.

Place of Work

Lido Centre, 63 Mattock Lane, Ealing, London, W13 9LA. Some travel will be expected and Home visits will be carried out in exceptional circumstances.

Salary

  • Salary inc Inner London weighting – £26,167.73 – £28,669.11

Hours

  • Full time 37 hours (fixed term contract March 2019 – with potential to extend depending on funding)
