Health & Safety Coordinator – Deafness Support Network

Circa £20,000 per annum
We are a Disability Confident employer with vibrant offices & Supported Living property in Northwich, Chester & Macclesfield, offering various types of support to people with a Sensory Loss across Cheshire East, Cheshire West & Chester, Flintshire & Wrexham. We require a professional & approachable individual with strong administrative skills, drive & a positive attitude, able to work on own initiative, to maintain the Health & Safety Management System.
Working across all sites, you will be responsible for implementing & maintaining all Health & Safety practices, programmes & initiatives which contribute to making DSN a safe place to work for our employees/visitors & for our Tenants, a safe place to live.
You will work closely with the Compliance Administrators & Executive Management Team, as an overall coordinator for scheduled inspections, audits & inspections for all sites, therefore the ability to travel across Cheshire is essential.
As this post involves communicating with D/deaf people, you should preferably have a certificate in BSL Level 1, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge; this is not essential as full training will be given.
