Location: Home based but with some travel

Hours: 37 hours per week

We are recruiting for a new Policy and Affairs Manager to join us – you will ensure that Deaf people are included in relevant health and social care policy developments, using the data and stories from our own services and a wide range of other evidence.
As our Policy and Public Affairs Manager you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including identifying public policy issues across a range of sectors responding to consultations, developing policy positions and SignHealth’s evidence base, developing stakeholder relationships and representing the charity at high profile meetings and events.
Your work will enable SignHealth to influence public policy, Government, Parliament, NHS England and other key stakeholders in order to achieve the charity’s purpose of improving Deaf people’s health and wellbeing.
Working with the Chief Executive and the other Directors at SignHealth, you will develop relationships with influential stakeholders, including MPs and peers, civil servants, service users and colleagues in other organisations.
