In The Willows is an accessible new British musical, currently touring the UK.
Mole’s first day in ‘The Willows’. Her classmates look a bit scary. Surely Mr Badger will look out for her, as streetwise Rattie, rich kid Toad and cheeky Otter teach her the ways of The Riverbank. But when Toad gets locked up for joyriding, the Weasel Clan break into his (lily)pad. It’s now only a matter of time before Chief Weasel reveals Mole’s dark secret…
With a cast including deaf street dancer Chris Fonseca (BBC’s The Greatest Dancer) and Olivier award-winner and star of Tracey Beaker Clive Rowe, In The Willows is a revolutionary new musical integrating British Sign Language into song, rap and hip-hop choreography alike. At least one performance in each venue will also be signed side of stage by a BSL interpreter.
