The BSL performance will be open to all, but will be signed by the British Sign Language interpreter for families and children with hearing impairments. The interpreter will be integrated into the show and so will move around the stage with the performers.

Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks’ best-selling picture book What the Ladybird Heard make its West End debut this summer at the Lyric Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue on 5 July and runs until 10 September for a limited summer season.

Two crafty robbers, one tiny ladybird, and a whole farmyard of fun! Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len have a cunning plan to steal the farmer’s fine prize cow. But they reckon without the tiniest, quietest creature of all: the Ladybird has a plan of her own!

Join the woolly sheep, the hairy hog, the fat red hen and the dainty dog in this glittering stage adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks’ colourful farmyard adventure. With live music, puppetry, plenty of audience participation and lots of laughs, this production is the perfect treat for all the family.
