Disability Law Service (DLS) provides free legal help and advice to disabled people in the areas of community care, employment, welfare benefits and discrimination. We aim to challenge the poverty and inequality disabled people face by securing equal access to legal rights and entitlements.

Disability Law Service are seeking a new CEO to provide leadership, direction and management of all staff and resources to maintain and develop it as the premier legal advisory service in the disability field. This is a great opportunity to take a lead in continuing the growth of a unique and dynamic organisation.

This is an exciting time to be joining DLS, with the opportunity to review our structures and approaches, maximise our strengths, address our areas for development and ensure we have a sustainable future based on high quality advice for our clients and their families. Working with the Board, the CEO will also provide support and development for our staff, and oversee a collaborative and inclusive culture where the whole team can thrive.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Chief Executive with proven experience as a senior manager to develop and expand the legal services provided for disabled people. The candidate will have experience of producing strategic and operational plans in finance, fundraising, and business, within an organisation to maximise the results achieved from their implementation. We are open to applications from leaders with a variety of backgrounds but you will be inspired by fulfilling our purpose of fighting injustice for disabled people
