Governance Manager – British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust

  • Part-time (2-3 days a week)
  • London-office based (Will consider a home-based person who can occasionally travel to our office, if beyond reasonable commuter distance)

British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust is a young, successful charity with an ambitious agenda. Funded by commercial broadcasters, we commission television programmes made in British Sign Language and we support the companies and Deaf programme-makers who produce them.

Following an organisational restructure, the postholder of this new role will support the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive with governance matters. This will include managing the Board’s cycles and committees, drafting meeting agendas, papers and minutes, working on the organisation’s strategies and frameworks, and supporting the Deputy Chief Executive with creating and implementing staff policies and procedures.
